Here’s what you can expect to find during your first visit to the CrossRoads!
A FRIENDLY AND CASUAL SERVICE: Here at the CrossRoads, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you arrive has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a cup of coffee, a greeter will be close by to help you with what you need.
And don’t worry about what to wear. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our services. You’ll enjoy our live band and the modern music. And the practical messages by our pastor, Rich Chasse, will help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a handy outline with a place for taking notes. What you learn on Sunday, you’ll be able to use during the week!
A SAFE PLACE FOR LITTLE ONES: Our nursery and toddler ministry provides a safe and loving environment for children, birth through three years of age. The care providers, who all have been given appropriate background checks, give special attention to each child who is entrusted to them during the worship services. The loving care and attention provided helps your children feel that church is a happy place where they are made to feel loved and secure.
A FUN PLACE FOR KIDS: Every Sunday when your kids arrive, they’ll be welcomed to a friendly and fun place where they’ll learn more about God’s love and His plan for their lives. Through interactive teaching, small group discussion, games, crafts, and even the snack time — kids have a great time learning to apply biblical truths to their lives.

OUR NEXT SERMON SERIES
It is no secret that what you don’t know can hurt you. But while the truth often hurts, deceiving ourselves ultimately will hurt worse. In our next series, we will look at how Jesus introduced some rather disturbing truth to several individuals who had grown comfortable with their misinformed lifestyles and belief systems. For those who had the courage to embrace the truth, their lives were changed forever. Perhaps their stories could lead you to the threshold of new, life-changing truth in your own life! Come check this new series beginning in September, Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
First Corinthians is filled with great instruction for new believers and for seasoned Christians alike. It also has a number of interesting topics that will be discussed – church unity, lawsuits, speaking in tongues, spiritual gifts, church discipline, and much more. Bring to class a Bible and a thirst for understanding and applying its truth; weekly worksheets are provided. The class is taught by Pastor Rich Chasse and meets on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the church auditorium. The semester should finish by the first week of December. Mark your calendars — it all gets started on September 14th!

MEET OUR PASTORS
Rich Chasse – Lead/Teaching Pastor
Rich Chasse is the Lead Pastor and is the main teacher here at the CrossRoads. Rich is originally from Ohio (yes, that means he’s a Buckeye) and attended Cedarville University and Dallas Theological Seminary. Rich has been in the ministry since 1991 and has been at CrossRoads Church since 1999. rich and his wife, Sherie (also a Cedarville graduate), have three children — two daughters, both in college, and one son, a high school student.
Tom Noteware – Associate Pastor of Worship
Tom Noteware leads the Worship Ministry and our Life Groups Ministry here at the CrossRoads. Tom is an accomplished musician and has been a favorite at our outdoor concerts, patriotic events, and at our annual “Behold the Lamb of God” Christmas concert. Tom has also written a number of songs and is currently producing his first CD. Tom and his wife, Lisa, reside in Branch, Michigan, where they homeschool their three daughters.
With the summer months comes lots of activities, travel, vacations and more. As the pastor of a congregation where many families love to camp, travel, and just enjoy the outdoors, I have learned to not get stressed out over the idea that people will often be gone during the summer months. There are many benefits for family, and relationships in general, when people have the opportunity to get away and spend quality time together.
Justin and Trisha Davis overcame a journey of grief and loss that most marriages can’t survive: adultery. After years of miscommunication, coldness, lies, and drifting apart, an affair almost killed their relationship. But, clinging to God’s promises of forgiveness and redemption, they allowed their grief to change them for the better.
Intense grief hits every marriage in one way or ano …
Recently, 20-year-old Bailey, a student at a local college, heard her professor of comparative religion tell the class, “The Christian faith uses terms like sanctification, justification, and propitiation. But church members have no idea what these terms mean.” Bailey raised her hand and said, “Professor, they do in my church.”
Higher Ground is for students in High School. Under Ground is for Middle School students. There’s food, games, music, and a Bible lesson. Our youth group will be meeting on Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. starting this September. Special events will be planned during summer months.
Joe and Staci Wood, our new youth group leaders, will head this ministry.
Life Groups at the CrossRoads are friendly, casual groups of adults who connect with others to grow in their faith and schedule in some good times too — without feeling like you’ve signed up for a lifetime commitment. Most group’s Bible studies are based on the topics covered during the previous Sunday’s sermon. We have groups meeting on different days, in different locations, and at different times (most groups take the Summer off). Another Life Group option is our CrossRoads Bible Academy, taught by Pastor Rich, on Monday evenings during the school year. So checkout a Life Group and get plugged into a time of growth and fellowship!
Contact Pastor Tom or Rich or call the office at 757-2857 for details about what groups are available or about starting a new group.
After our time of worship in song, we offer Quest Kids Children’s Church, which is a great program for kids! Quest Kids meets downstairs and is for kids K-5th grade. Kids are dismissed for Quest Kids after our time of singing and before the sermon in our worship service.
Our preschool (for kids age 3 through pre-K) program is held during the entire worship service and is located downstairs. We also offer a great nursery for babies and toddlers located downstairs which are available during the whole service.
Our worship ministry is led by Tom Noteware.
Practices are usually held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
If you’d like to get invovled, contact Tom or the church office.
OUR STRATEGY — IN A NUTSHELL
Our goal is to be a body of believers committed to worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ gives our lives new direction, purpose, and meaning. Jesus said, “I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness.” That’s what the people of the CrossRoads have found to be true
Here at the CrossRoads, our strategy for your spiritual growth is simple – just focus on three things – Gather , Grow & Go!
That’s it. If you would commit to these three simple steps, we believe you will find yourself well on the way to an ever growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
As CrossRoads Church grows, it is our desire to see that we keep that family atmosphere we all love and appreciate. You’re invited to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of our church.
